Phyxius & Christina Dale Phyxius Photography is a encompassing name for photography services provided by Christina Dale. Phyxius, pronounced fix-E-us, is greek
for "putting to flight" and is used as a surname for both Zeus and Apollo. Christina started riding as a child and can't remember ever not loving
horses. The same is true of photography, she started "borrowing" her parent's cameras at a very young age and soon developed a passion for photography
that she has nutured ever since. Christina is a member of USDF, USEF, AQHA, PHAOA, PVDA, and IAAMT. She is available for barn shoots, show/event photos, and stallion shoots.
Christina's a true shutterbug and can be counted on to have a camera near-by no matter what the occasion. Some recent events/clients include:
Christina specializes in equine photography and uses Nikon equipment.
Athena Media & Sarah Mesa
Sarah specializes in equine videography and has a BA in journalism from the University of Maryland. She has been a member of USPC and USDF
with a strong history of dressage and jumping. Sarah has also written for Practical Horseman and Mid-Atlantic Thorougbred and served as a consulting editor for Pony Enthusiast magazine.
Sarah also has a strong background in web site management, design, and content writing including work for the Maryland Jockey Club, Equestrian Services, LLC, and the Humane Society International.
